Climate Biodiversity Development (CBD) Consulting operates as a private, independent analysis and advisory company in the climate, conservation and development space. CBD Consulting was founded in 2016 by Colin Young (Ph.D.) and Sharon Ramclam- Young (M.Sc.), both respected leaders and experts with extensive national and international expertise and experience in climate change, natural resources management, conservation financing, environmental management and sustainable development.

With a particular focus on climate change, natural resources management. conservation financing, biodiversity and environmental management and sustainable development, our expertise and experience allows us to tackle complex and pressing challenges and deliver outcomes that positively impact the environment and help organizations to prosper. Our experienced team provides independent, innovative and practical solutions to clients in government, private sector and civil society. Our services include climate change adaptation and mitigation solutions, strategy development, biodiversity assessments, environmental analysis, socio-economic studies, feasibility studies, disaster risk analysis, institutional assessments, business planning, project monitoring and impact evaluations.
